Minimizing Environmental Impact

Planar recognizes that its operations and products have direct impacts on the environment and works proactively to minimize them. Planar utilizes an Environmental Management System (EMS) to establish goals related to regulatory compliance, resource usage, transportation, material selection and waste disposal. 

While Planar displays come equipped with energy-saving features and utilize LED technology that is free of mercury, they still contain certain materials that cannot be disposed of in the trash.
