Project Overview
At U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, home to Minnesota Vikings professional football, a unique space connects fans to the Vikings team through engaging experiences. Located on the 200 level, the space—called the Vikings Voyage—blends traditional hall of fame elements with interactive display technologies from Planar.
Planar displays are deployed in seven interactive exhibits. A centerpiece area features two 55-inch Planar® LookThru™ Transparent OLED displays which allow users to see older and current Vikings uniforms behind the displays while simultaneously viewing content about them on the screen. Other exhibits integrate Planar® PS Series Touch displays and Planar® Simplicity™ Series LCD displays with traditional franchise artifacts as well as virtual reality (VR) technology.
